Robin Gerofsky Kaptzan is a New York licensed attorney with three decades of legal and business experience in the USA and Asia. Ms. Kaptzan began her legal career in 1985 in New York City arguing and managing complex corporate cases and handling corporate matters. For more than twenty years, she has lived and worked in Shanghai. For fifteen of those years, she worked for reputable Chinese and foreign law firms.
Ms. Kaptzan has been Senior Foreign Counsel at Duan & Duan (Shanghai), one of the oldest and largest Chinese law firms, for 5 ½ years. She acts as general counsel to her clients, helping them with investment strategies, structuring, company set-up and M&A. She provides guidance on employment, intellectual property, cross-border contracts, compliance, corruption investigations, and project management. Her clients are small to large public multinational companies, governments, families and individuals in varying industries.
Robert E. Daudt

Mr. Daudt has a successful and distinquished record spanning 35 years in the business world. He has been involved in over 120 acquisitions and divestitures in both the United States and China. Mr. Daudt has worked for over 20 years in China, starting the first Sino-American underground construction joint venture in that country. Mr. Daudt holds a Bachelor in Science degree in Finance from the University of Minnesota and a Juris Doctorate from William Mitchell College of Law. Additionally, he holds his CPCU, AAI and CBI designations.
Prior to founding ChinaPlus Capital, he was Managing Director of Lazard Middle Market in Shanghai. Mr. Daudt is a frequent lecturer and sits on the board of several companies. He is also a Managing Partner at Shanghai YiXing Capital, Ltd, a founding partner at Smart Capital, Senior Advisor and shareholder at Driving Force Asia, Adjunct Professor at Tongji University and a founding board member of ACG China.
